7B ELA (Period 1)
Course Description
Seventh grade ELA will focus on the development of literacy skills: reading, writing, and speaking. These literacy skills will be developed through study of different genres of literature. Students will practice and develop reading strategies that will improve their overall reading and comprehension skills. Students will gain communication skills through participation in group projects and class discussions. Use of the Writing Process will give students the opportunity to build on their writing skills.
