- The order of science topics that will be covered from the new module were discussed. The vocabulary sheets have the final words we will be covering this year in class.
- We started lesson on asexual and sexual reproduction from module A. After going over the notes for this lesson, students worked with a partner to answer questions 1-7 (skip 6) pages 113-115. Students were asked to write definitions for asexual reproduction, sexual reproduction and fertilization. No pictures...just examples for the two types of reproduction.

- Students elected their own groups to research a cell theorist scientist. We went to the library on Wednesday and used the computers and books to find information about the scientist.
- Thursday and Friday we worked in the classroom with the books and chrome book computers. Work began with coloring supplies, butcher paper, construction paper and drawing paper.
- Posters need to be finished by end of class on Friday.

- We watched some video clips to help explain Eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells.
- Students worked with a partner on AOW ws 3.5 Antibiotics: Life Killing Life. They had to add 4 vocabulary terms to their vocabulary sheet (compounds, exuded, synthetic, and strain.) Next they needed to answer the 10 questions, marking where they found their answers in the passage.

- viewed pond water, turtle water, and fish tank water with the microscope.
- AOW: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cells. Students were given a copy of this article with 5 questions to answer based on the reading Lexile score. We discussed the answers in class.
